About Us

Rainbow Resort has beautiful spacious grounds with 500 acres and 1 mile of shoreline, bordering two lakes and a scenic river. The surrounding deciduous/conifer mix forest has an abundance of wildlife. We are near the Headwaters of the Mississippi River at Itasca State Park and on the northern border of Tamarac Wildlife Refuge.

We offer great personal & quality service, our guests are very important to us. We specialize in getaways, family vacations and reunions, business, & group retreats. All cabins and vacation homes are lakefront on level grounds, 3 are wheelchair accessible all with fantastic lake view. Each cabin has a deck, grill, dock space & individual campfire ring. We are the only resort on Little Bemidji Lake, with access to Johnny Cake and Elbow Lake to make over 1600 acres of fishing or enjoying nature, swim, boat, canoe or kayak. We offer organized children/family activities to keep everyone entertained. Rainbow Trail system is great for hiking and biking, Birding is fantastic along the trails and resort grounds for all seasons.
