Road Guard Training
Motorcycle Road Guard Certificate | 3 hours
Cost: $30
M State is the NW Regional Training Center for Motorcycle Road Guard Certificate training program will train participants how to legally stop and control traffic for motorcycle group rides. Certified road guards will be able to stop traffic to allow group rides to pass through intersections and give traffic the "all clear" when it's safe to proceed. This course has 2 hours of classroom training, followed by 1 hour of practical training and basic competency testing at a nearby intersection.

In order to participate in this training, fill out an application for the Motorcycle Road Guard Certificate and send it to Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS). The application can be found below or online at www.motorcyclesafety.org.
The application must be received three weeks before your training. The application allows DVS to review applicants' driving records. Applicants will receive a response letter from DVS telling them if they are approved or not approved to attend training. Applicants must bring the letter to training in order to participate.
