Show up at 9am if you need a free rental bike. We will have a large supply of young adult/adult bikes (frame sizes of 13" up to 18" and 26" wheels from the DL School District). There will be a limited supply of kids sized bikes (20" & 24" mountain bikes & Strider bikes) available from Detroit Mountain for 1 hour.
Show up at 9:30am if you have your own mountain bike(s) & are just looking to learn more about or try mountain biking.

Description
You are invited to join the Lakes Area Mountain Bike Alliance and Trails (LAMBAT) to try mountain biking for free. We'll start out with basic coaching and riding on the skills park and then progress to the singletrack trails for anyone interested in trying them. This event is not suitable for kids who cannot already ride a bike unless they just want to try riding a Strider on the Strider course. Bring a helmet if you have one as it is required. We will have some on hand for those without. The event will be cancelled if the trails ae wet. Check the LAMBAT Facebook page.
