Description
Understand how local government works and how you can get involved! Participants will learn the roles of the City Council, Mayor, and city departments; how city budgets and decisions are made; and how projects move from idea to reality.
This session also covers practical ways to engage - such as attending meetings, contacting elected officials, serving on boards or commissions, and using city services.
By the end, you will have a clearer picture of how City Hall operates and how your voice can make a difference in our community!
