Annual Chili Cook-Off
Chili Cook-Off Information...
Similar to past years, chili will be judged by your peers and super cool prizes will be awarded. Everyone is invited to participate!
Placing your food item(s) in the proper class will help you dominate this year.
CLASSES
Production: No ‘spicy hot’ stuff for me, just good ol’ chili....
Traditional chili made from beef or pork, not spicy.
Production GT: Can you say “Meat Sweats?”
Traditional chilis made from beef or pork, spicy!
Open Light: It’s not hot, but mmmm that’s good!
Non-traditional chili, may include chicken or vegetarian, not spicy.
Open: You are Hot Stuff!
Non-traditional chili, may include chicken or vegetarian, spicy!
Group 2: Well, maybe just one more!
Desserts galore.
Group 5: Corn bread, tortilla chips, oh my!
Non-chili, savory foodstuffs.
Note: There must be more than one entry to a class for the class to exist, and in the event of a tie, the tie breaker will be determined by the pot/dish with the least amount (based on % consumed) of food in/on it.
We will provide the essentials (plates, bowls, plasticware, and napkins)! Bringing your own ladle is a must. If you aren’t making chili, but are bringing something, you should bring the appropriate serving utensil(s). Beverages and alcohol will be available for purchase (cash only).
