Summit Productions, the lakes area’s community theatre group, is bringing Detective Harry Monday back to the stage! Monday Always Leads to Murder will be live at the Holmes Theatre March 17 thru March 19.
Director Doug Schultz, Mark Champa as detective Harry Monday and numerous other cast members return from the 2015 production of Three Murders and It’s Only Monday to once again conspire to bring laughter to the Historic Holmes Theatre.
The jokes, puns and other silliness fly fast and furious in this homage to the 1950’s film noir murder mystery. In Monday Always Leads to Murder, Harry Monday relies on his wits, his cowardice and even combines forces with a combative police sergeant to solve the mystery.
Yet others approach our intrepid detective with other requests; solve a 20-year-old murder case, find a missing jewel. Are all these cases related? Maybe. If you solve one would you solve the others? Possibly. Along the way someone desperately wants Harry to succeed. Yet someone else does not!
