Time for a wee bit o’ partying!
Annual Holmes Theatre Fundraiser for the Arts goes Irish
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the Holmes Theatre! Go Irish at this year’s Fundraiser for the Arts on Friday, March 16. This annual event, called Motion, will be held in the Holmes Ballroom with musical entertainment provided by 32 Below. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and music starts at 7 p.m.
Green is the theme of the night, so come dressed in your best St. Patrick’s Day attire. There will be appetizers, desserts, raffles, auction items, music and dancing. Money raised helps the Holmes bring over 4,000 students to the theatre for live productions each year and allows them to bring artists to nursing homes, schools and local events. Funds also help the Holmes bring performing artists from all over the world to Detroit Lakes.
32 Below will be providing the live entertainment this year. 32 Below is a popular rock country band that has played in almost every city in the Midwest. A collection of hard working rural boys from Fargo, North Dakota, 32 Below’s six albums have sold more than 25,000 copies. The guys
have taken the stage with the likes of Keith Urban, Montgomery Gentry, Justin Moore, Joe Diffie, Billy Currington, Easton Corbin, Randy Houser,The Band Perry, Charlie Daniels, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and LittleBig Town, to name a few.
